The reception provided some tips on the area, so helpful! I loved hiking nearby, felt like a real adventurer. Oh, and the fireplace in the holiday home? Absolutely perfect for roasting marshmallows!
Oh, I just adored everything, but if I had to be really picky. maybe they could have provided a personal butler to tend to my every need?

The Highlight: Set in an area where hiking can be enjoyed, this hidden gem of a hotel offers a breath of fresh air for nature enthusiasts. I felt like I was walking through a postcard, mesmerized by the stunning landscapes that surrounded me. Definitely a hiker's paradise!
Limited Seating: The sofa only seats two, so it was a bit awkward for our group of three to relax together at night.

Our recent stay at the Bothy Of Ballachulish House was absolutely delightful. The charming decoration and high ceilings created a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful setting close to all the necessary facilities. The beautiful surroundings of the countryside, with the loch and mountains nearby, provided a stunning backdrop. We especially enjoyed falling asleep to the soothing sounds of owls and the nearby stream. The host was very friendly and accommodating.
Although the second bedroom and adjoining bathroom were a bit small, they were still usable. It would have been nice to have an enclosed garden area as well.

What a cute and cozy place! the staff was super friendly and even helped us ship some forgotten items back home. the location by the stream was lovely, and we could hear the calming sound of water through the windows. the kitchen was modern and well-equipped, and having two bathrooms was a bonus. the fridge was stocked with essentials like eggs, milk, and butter, and the coffee and tea were a nice touch. the house was extremely clean, and we enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings. Plus, the check-out time at 12:00 gave us a leisurely end to our stay!
The seating in the living room was a bit limited for more than two people, and it would have been nice to have a TV in there for everyone to enjoy. the main bed had a slightly awkward layout, making it difficult for one person to get out without climbing over the other.

The location was beautiful, with a calming stream right outside the windows. The interior was tastefully decorated and the kitchen was modern and well-equipped. The high ceilings in the sitting area and main bedroom added a touch of elegance. The host was friendly and helpful, even going the extra mile to arrange for the postage of some items we forgot. I highly recommend this charming bothy.
The only minor issues were the absence of coasters in the kitchen, which resulted in rings on the furniture, and the lack of dishwasher tablets. Additionally, the layout of the main bed was a bit awkward, making it difficult for one person to get out without disturbing the other.
